Hot Stone Massage
This 1 1/2 hour massage uses basalt lava stones that are heated and placed strategically along the back and sacrum, small stones between the toes and stones along the chakras (energy centers along the front of the body). The therapist uses the stones to do the massage instead of the hands. The heat from the stones combined with the massage relaxes the muscles and calms the mind. This treatment is the ultimate in relaxation.

Prenatal Massages are usually done after the first trimester of the pregnancy. If there are any health concerns or complications with the mother and/or baby, we will ask for a waiver from your doctor. The massage is usually done sidelying with your body supported by a body pillow, bolsters and regular pillows for comfort. No deep tissue work is done during this massage. Overall, monthly prenatal massages are wonderful for both mother and baby.

Thai Yoga Massage
Traditional Thai Yoga massage is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. This type of modality combines acupressure, energy balancing, stretching and applied yoga exercises. The therapist "assists" the client into gentle yoga stretching and combines the above modalities to achieve relaxation, and to balance the mind, body, spirit. Like Shiatsu, the client is dressed in loose comfortable clothing and the treatment is done on the floor on a futon mat.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu literally means "finger pressure." Japanese developed Shiatsu from Chinese culture and combined massage with acupuncture to help relieve the body of toxins and maintain the flow of "chi" (energy). Meridians are channels of chi. To maintain the flow of chi, the practitioner uses their natural body weight when pressure is applied to the meridians of the body. Stretching and acupressure are also used.
Shiatsu is done on a floor mat or on a very low massage table. The client wears loose comfortable clothing while Shiatsu is performed. Shiatsu may also be used during a therapeutic massage.

Chair Massage
The client chooses the amount of time he or she wants to spend in the massage chair. The massage is done in a seated position. Most of the massage is done on the back, neck and arms. We do corporate programs, parties, special events, health fairs, reunions, and picnics: the list is endless.
Chair massage is ideal for businesses who want to offer perks to their employees. For businesses, we can bill the company for providing the massage to employees, or we can charge on an individual basis.

Outcalls to Home or Business
All of the treatments listed under therapeutic massage and holistic treatment (except hot stone massage) can be performed at the home, business or hotel. The cost of an outcall is more expensive because of the involvement of the setup and teardown of the massage table and travel time. We can bring the table to parties, health fairs, business functions, special events, sporting events or to your home.
